Once there was a father and a son. Both used to think about their past. The father always used to think about the past. He often thought both his good and bad experiences. Therefore, he became excited and depressed often.

His son was ambitious. He dreamt and achieved many things in his life. He too encountered several failures. However, he learnt lessons out of his failures and moved ahead.

When we look at both father and son it becomes obvious that father was only worried about the failures of the past. However, son learnt lessons from his failures and moved on aggressively. It is fact that people waste 30 per cent of their time thinking about past. When you can channel the negative past constructively and creatively you can have excellent future ahead.

So one should live in present rather than to live in past which cannot be changed.
