Environment is all about our surroundings and nature. Now a day, people are using nature as a tool for deforestation, killing animals, polluting the climate and other activities which are not eco-friendly. Due to our reckless act we are facing an ecological imbalance which gives rise to several natural calamities like tsunami, volcano eruptions and earthquakes. It leads to destruction of buildings and precious human life.

We are responsible for various types of pollutions like land, water and air pollution. These pollutions are mainly caused by industrial effluents. The industrial effluents mix with water which leads to death of several aquatic species. The smoke which comes out of industries depletes the ozone layer allowing the ultraviolet rays to fall on earth directly resulting into rising temperature of the earth. All these things lead to some diseases to mankind.

People are also killing the wild life which may lead to extinction of some species. Deforestation also leads to threat to planet.

Consequences:

• Severe destruction to buildings and mankind.
• Ecological imbalances.
• Polluted air may lead to acid rains and may also cause several health hazards.
• Occurrence of natural calamities like tsunami and earth quakes.
• Polluted water leads to death of aquatic life and humans also.
• Leads to scarcity of food.

Preventive Measures:

• Industrialization should be moderate.
• Animals which are facing extinction should be sent to some zoological parks for preservation.
• Check deforestation.
• Afforestation.
• Protect wildlife.

Conclusion:

Never harm nature otherwise nature will harm you. Environmental education should be included a subject to students in curriculum to bring awareness. So, each one should plant one.
