Once in a forest there was flock of birds living in trees. One bird among them sang exceptionally well. Rest of the birds enjoyed her singing. The animals in the forest also enjoyed her singing. However, her singing led to troubles for other birds and animals as several hunters came to the forest to hunt the birds and animals. Some died and some were captured while escaping from the hunters. Hence, the animals asked birds to relocate to avoid getting killed by hunters. Rest of the birds advised the singing bird not to sing all the time as it cost their lives. The singing bird did not pay heed to the advice of other birds and kept singing.

The flock relocated to other forests. The singing bird started singing in the new forest. The animals in the new forest enjoyed the singing. However, few birds did not appreciate and hatched a conspiracy to ruin the voice of the singing bird.

Everyday five to six male birds would meet singing bird and offer heavy food to eat. Gradually the singing bird became hefty and her voice became husky. As a result, the singing bird could not sing melodiously. Rest of the birds lived happily in the forest. But the singing bird remained unhappy forever. The moral of the story is that we should not be spoilsport.

Once upon a time there was an old bungalow in a town. There were rumors that the bungalow was surrounded by evils spirits. Nobody dared to go near the bungalow. An old man lived in it and nobody talked with him.

One day a stranger – Max visited the town. He decided to stay in the bungalow as he was not aware about the rumors. He was happy to meet the old man who was warm and cordial. Gradually he became closer to him. When Max visited the town for shopping everybody avoided talking to him. After returning to the bungalow he enquired from old man why everybody was averse to talk to him. The old man replied that everyone in the town believed that he had evil powers and spirits. As a result, they avoided talking to him. The old man also added that a friend spread rumors in the town when they had altercation on property issues. And the town people began believing in rumors.

Max listened and understood the real motive behind spreading rumors and he decided to clear the cloud. He began spreading the truth to town people and gradually there was change in the attitude of the people and finally, they started visiting the old bungalow and talking to the old man.

The moral from this story is not to believe in rumors. Always check the real reasons and motives behind rumors.

Once there was an unlucky village. The village reeled under drought for several years due to lack of rain. . Many evacuated the place as there was no hope for survival while some stayed with hope. There was no harvest due to dearth of water.

One day a great sage came to the village and things changed for better suddenly. It rained well and every one was getting water to drink. Everybody praised the sage. The sage said that everything would happen when the time comes. He also added that God gives opportunity only once and one has to avail it. The sage stayed in the village for a fortnight and left. The villagers were happy as they had everything.

Subsequently villagers stopped working hard. They didn’t construct reservoirs to conserve water. They thought that it was adequate for ten years. They didn’t put their efforts on cultivation. Like this few months passed. Finally, they were in the same disaster again. But this time the village was not spared from extinction.

Hence, remember that God gives opportunity only once.

Once upon a time there was a thick forest called Darkened Wood. It had tall trees and many wild animals and beasts. The forest was like a graveyard for human beings as those who entered never returned.

There was a kingdom named Spartus close to the forest. The Kingdom was famous for creating gladiators. The head of the gladiators was Gulliver who was cruel and robust. He trained several slaves as powerful gladiators. Once the king of Spartus bought twenty slaves and asked Gulliver to train them as powerful gladiators. However, one of the slaves by name Sparta who appeared arrogant opposed Gulliver.

The slaves had a hard time everyday. One day Gulliver killed one of the slaves during rigorous training. Sparta picked up quarrel with Gulliver for killing his colleague and it led to a long fight between both of them. Having seen this king intervened and stopped their fight. Subsequently King conducted a test wherein both the groups led by Sparta and Gulliver would go to Darkened Wood, the dense forest and get a magical stone. The group that gets the magical stone would be the winner. And it was a dangerous event as it contained wild animals and beasts. In addition, nobody returned from there until then.

Sparta and Gulliver went to the forest with their troops. They entered the forest simultaneously in different directions. They killed beasts and animals ruthlessly on the way. Finally all the group members of both the teams were killed except Sparta and Gulliver. They fought a bitter battle for a long time in order to reach the magical stone. Finally Sparta killed Gulliver and touched the magical stone. The moment he touched the stone, it transformed into a beautiful girl. The girl told him that he had the power to summon huge army of soldiers. Sparta summoned soldiers and attacked the kingdom and defeated the king and declared himself as the king of Spartus. He ordered the release of all slaves and abolished slavery forever from the kingdom.

You have right to choose your destiny.

Once there was a boy named James who was introvert and not interested in gelling with others. He always sat alone and did not any friends. When he was in school he would sit alone without any companions. But he was good in education. Most of the students ridiculed his behavior. Their parents did not appreciate such things to James and all shifted to another city and hoping that James would improve well in new environment.

After shifting to new city James was admitted to a new school in the middle of academic year. He was not able to understand what they were teaching. He had to take help of someone, but he was not interested to talk to other students.

In that class, there was a person by name Shane who was extrovert and interactive with all students. He took initiative to introduce himself to James. However, James ignored. At that time Shane saw James struggling with a problem. Then Shane immediately helped him. James was happy because no one helped him in the past in that way. From then onwards, he began gelling with Shane. Shane taught him how to get along with all his fellow colleagues. Finally James evolved as a new person who can interact and get along with others amicably.

The moral of the story is that a good friend can make a difference in your life.

Once there was a person, Steve who was a kind hearted person. He used to talk with all people very friendly. He had a friend, by name Roger, and both of them were good friends. Steve talked to girls in jovial manner. One day Steve met a girl by name Sarah in an exhibition. He talked with her very friendly.

Since then everyday Sarah and Steve met each other. They used to talk to each other often. They both became good friends. One day Steve introduced Sarah to Roger. When they saw each other they were astonished as they were already known to each other. Roger knew Sarah as she was the lover of his friend Bruno. Steve was also happy as Roger knew her already.

The friendship between Sarah and Steve grew stronger. Roger became unhappy as their friendship grew stronger and thought that they were ignoring him. Hence, Roger incited Bruno i.e. lover of Sarah that Sarah and Steve became very close to each other and might fall in love. When Bruno came to know this, he slapped Sarah and yelled at her also ordered her not to talk to Steve.

When Sarah went to her house her brother saw this and went to Bruno’s house. Sarah’s brother knew the love between Bruno and Sarah. Then Sarah’s brother asked him why he slapped his sister. Bruno and Sarah’s brother beat Steve. Having known this Sarah did not appreciate the wrong doings of Bruno and she broke her relations forever. Sarah apologized Steve on behalf of her brother for the wrong doing and continued her friendship.

One should not misunderstand friendship and should not be influenced by others. Above all, there has to be trust in relations.

Once there was a corn field in a village which had rare variety of corns in a large land. The landlord, Ken was very happy with its yield. He was very proud for his production. He often would say that nobody could match him in yield as his corns were popular in whole country.

One day a great industrialist named Mark met landlord to make a deal. The deal was that Ken would sell half of his land to Mark and the latter would pay half of the income he would receive on the land to the former. Ken got irritated and yelled at him and talked ill of him. Mark didn’t frown and left the place coolly.

While he was returning to town he saw a farmer working in hot sun in a small land. Mark immediately went to the farmer and asked his name and why he was working very hard? He replied that his name was Jack and he was very poor and had to take care of his family. Mark asked whether he would grow corns. Jack said that to grow corns he required large field. Then Mark said that he would give him a large field and also the money. Jack also agreed. Mark said that he would meet him after a week to get everything ready.

Mark met Jack as per the commitment. He gave huge land to Jack adjacent Ken’s corn fields. Mark also provided shelter to Jack house in the field itself. Jack immediately started his work. He worked day and night to deliver superior quality of corns to Mark.

After a year Mark came to see Jack. The field was full of corns. Even though Jack satisfied Mark he was still working harder to produce better quality yield. Mark was excited with the crop outcome and gave half of the profits to Jack. Then Mark went to see the Ken’s field. To his surprise, he found the corns of Ken were rotten as Ken became overconfident and neglected the crop.

From this story we can learn that excessive egoism is the root of downfall. One should not take success for granted. When people achieve success without hard work becomes proud while the people who work hard and achieve success become humble. Hence, make sure that success doesn’t go to your head.

Once there was a crane flying in the forest. It was dying with hunger. While it was flying it saw a very big and beautiful lake.  It saw many fishes, frogs and many aquatic animals.  It thought that it could spend its entire life happily by eating those aquatic animals.  It chalked out a strategy to eat them.

The crane went to the aquatic animals and asked who as the king of the lake.  The animals said that they had no king. The crane said them that every kingdom would have a king; every village would have a head. Aquatic animals fell in the trap of crane. Subsequently the aquatic animals gathered to elect king.  Some aquatic animals opted frogs to be king but some opted fishes to be kings. When they were arguing, some animals suggested that crane would be the better king.  Since crane was strong and intelligent among other aquatic animals, all agreed.

When aquatic animals asked crane to be king it accepted. After becoming the king it told to all the aquatic animals that everyone should obey its instructions. All of them agreed.  The crane said that everyday it would eat ten fishes and ten frogs and would survive.  In that way, crane spent its entire life happily.

Never follow others’ suggestion.  Always think independently and act.

Once upon a time there was a man called Rayon who was a ruthless killer. He was strong and brave. He killed several people ruthlessly. Even the Gods were shocked with his bravery. However, they did not appreciate his ruthless and reckless temperament. Rayon was working for the demons. He was wooed and influenced by the demons. Aaron, the ruler of the demon world gave a powerful sword ‘slain blade’ to Rayon. Rayon was able to control fire and wind with slain blade. He killed those who opposed him and the demons.

Rayon had a wife by name, Julia. He loved her very much. Julia always opposed Rayon working for demons. She repeatedly told Rayon that demons were using him as pawn and also added that demons wanted to gain supremacy over Gods. Rayon never bothered to listen to his wife and finally Julia left him.

One day Rayon went to a village and killed all people by setting fire. He went inside the church and killed all who were praying. Subsequently he found his wife lying dead in the church. Rayon realized his folly and felt remorse. He decided not to repeat such things in future. He informed the same to Aaron and the latter killed Rayon and took all his powers.

Having seen this, Gods gave life and powers to Rayon and instructed to kill the demons. Rayon with his new powers and support of Gods went to the place of demons and killed all the demons and Aaron. Ultimately, Gods made Rayon as God. Therefore, always work for right people and right cause.
